Healthy Conflict in the Workplace

It's Linda's belief that a healthy team is one where differing opinions and ideas are offered and received, encouraged and built upon. People can disagree with each other and still go out for coffee afterwards. They can shift easily to a different subject without a heavy tension lingering in the air. Can you imagine how such an atmosphere would impact on your work - individually and collectively? Is this you and your team now? Would you like it to be?

In this workshop we explore the individual and organizational conditions to creating such an atmosphere, one where creative tension is used well. Our focus is on you, the individual, and what helps you be the kind of person who can express and receive opinions and ideas even if they differ from the prevailing thoughts. We identify what creates and supports a cultural norm of openness and ease with different responses to conflict. We will explore ways of working with and building on different communicating, working, and conflict styles while still keeping your sense of humour and your cool.
