Directions to Rupert from
Ottawa
(About 35-40 minutes from downtown Ottawa.)
- Take the Nicholas Street exit from
the 417 (Queensway).
- Follow the signs to King Edward St.
and follow it northward; this becomes Hwy #5 North.
- After about 15 - 20 minutes, Hwy
#5 ends at a T-intersection. Turn RIGHT, then LEFT at the
lights. You are now on Hwy #105 North
- Follow along for about 10 km (or about 5 minutes) and
you will PASS the Wakefield turn off. Stay on the #105 North.
- After about 1 km, (just before highway goes from two to four lanes)
turn LEFT onto Hwy #366 WEST, (towards Ste. Cecile de Masham and
Lac Phillippe).
- Follow Hwy #366 for about 6 km.
- Turn RIGHT onto Ch. de la Beurrerie, just after the Francis
GAS PUMPS. (If you pass
the Caisse Populaire bank on your left, you have missed the turn
off.)
- Follow Ch. de la Beurrerie for another
6 km. At the four-way stop, you are in Rupert! (Note: Ch. de la
Beurrerie becomes Ch. Des Erables at a kind of Y spot, stay
right on the main road).
- Turn LEFT onto
Ch. Parent, at the four-way stop.
- We are the eighth house on the RIGHT,
about 50 yards or less from the stop sign. It is a white house with
blue trim, #26, red Vanderlee on a gray mailbox. If you
see a field on your right you missed us.
- Please park in or west of the driveway
to give
our neighbours some space.
