Linda Vanderlee

Love of people, learning and meaningful conversations has led me to many serendipitous connections and experiences. Volunteer wilderness canoe trips with youth led me to Outward Bound programs with corporate groups. Travel in Africa introduced me to International Development work here in Canada and inspired my academic journey. A Life Skills Coaching certificate paved the way to earning a Masters degree in Organizational Effectiveness and Change Leadership.

What appears to link all these experiences together is the understanding that making a difference in the world begins with ourselves: learning about who we are and what we are here to contribute...as individuals and as a team.

Always wanting to find fun and creative ways to learn, I continue to explore and experiment with how body centred and whole brain processes can support deeper discoveries and connections. 

Credentials

With over twenty years experience in the field, I have developed an excellent understanding of the theory and the practice of group dynamics and the change process. I completed my Masters of Arts in Human Systems Intervention (Organizational Effectiveness/Change Management) in 2000 and my Executive Coaching Certification in 2005. Active involvement with associations such as the Organization Development Network of Ottawa keeps me abreast of current issues and practices in the field and connected to a network of experienced colleagues. I am continously seeking ways to improve my French (which usually means leaping), exploring different ways of bringing body-mind-spirit to this work, and finding alternative entry points to communication when people are in stressful or conflictual situations.

Mostly though, my credentials are revealed in the way I live my life, Dreaming Big and staying mindful of  'walking my talk'. I continue to update my vision, to challenge my own limiting beliefs and to seek the appropriate support so that Iam also living my life with gusto!
